Since 1994, Net Exchange has brought market mechanisms to commerce traditionally organized through non-market means. Net Exchange products are based on combinatorial technologies put to use as trading processes that allow individuals and firms to more directly pursue the combinations of items that fulfill their trading intent. Net Exchange enhances the value of its customers’ commerce by simplifying the steps between intent and trading.

In May 1994, faculty members from the California Institute of Technology formed Net Exchange. The company was founded to commercialize solutions based on advanced research in computational combinatorial auctions and markets. Net Exchange has advanced the technology and practice of combinatorial auctions and markets throughout its existence. We maintain a close relationship with several universities. This provides access to economics laboratories and the latest research in economic theory.
