Since 1994, Net Exchange has brought market mechanisms to commerce traditionally organized through non-market means. Net Exchange products are based on combinatorial technologies put to use as trading processes that allow individuals and firms to more directly pursue the combinations of items that fulfill their trading intent. Net Exchange expands the value of its customers’ commerce by simplifying the steps between intent and trading.

Net Exchange pioneered the commercial use of combinatorial auctions and exchanges. The first such auction was introduced by the founders of Net Exchange in 1993 and the first such exchange in 1995.

Net Exchange has two product lines: our long-established deal optimization solutions based on combinatorial call market (CCM) technology and our new line of decision support markets based on combinatorial automated market maker (CAMM) technology.

CAMM can also be deployed as an automated bookmaker in fixed-odds horse racing systems.  CAMM's ability to pool liquidity among and transact across interrelated contracts enables exotic bet functionality (e.g., exacta/forecast) that can add substantial value in racing jurisdictions, such as the U.K., where fixed-odds wagering is predominant.  For more information on the use of CAMM in fixed-odds racing, see Automated Bookmaker for Fixed-odds Racing.
